According to the process classification, it can be divided into two categories: separation process and forming process. The separation process is also called blanking, which aims to separate the metal stamping parts from the sheet material along a certain contour line and ensure the quality requirements of the separation section. The purpose of the forming process is to make the sheet plastic deformation under the condition of not breaking the blank, to make the required shape and size of the workpiece. Punching, bending, shearing, drawing, expansion, spinning, correction are several main metal stamping processes. In actual production, a variety of processes are often integrated into a workpiece.
